This week's Pet of the Week from the Vanderburgh Humane Society is looking for her forever home and could be the "perfect" addition to your family. Meet Deja.

Deja's Story

What makes this 6-year-old retriever mix the perfect fit for you? According to the VHS, she's "gentle, great with humans of all ages, enjoys other dogs, is housebroken, and crate-trained." What more do you need?

As you can see from the video above, Deja has recently become a mom to a litter of puppies, all of which have been adopted. The good news is, you won't have to worry about her having more because the VHS nipped that in the bud so to speak by having her spayed.

Her adoption fee is $150 which covers the same things all the adoption fees at the VHS cover; up-to-date vaccinations, microchipping, and her spaying, which obviously, has already been taken care of.

If you'd like to get a jump on the adoption process for Deja, or any of the animals the VHS offers that you might be interested in, you can fill out some of the paperwork in advance on the VHS website.
