Who's ready to ride rides and be spooked at the same time this Halloween season?!

King's Island, located right outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, is one of the best amusement parks around. Not only is the park massive, but the rides there are fantastic. It's a place that my family and I have visited ever since I was a kid. That being said, one thing that I have not experienced there is the spooky thrill of visiting Kings Island around Halloween. However, I just might change that this year because I really want to see Kings Island's Halloween Haunt firsthand.

Kings Island's Halloween Haunt 2022

Halloween Haunt returns to Kings Island from September 23rd through October 29th. Be prepared for tons of fun and scares throughout the park during Halloween Haunt. According to Kings Island:

The fully transformed amusement park features bone-chilling scare mazes and scare zones, sinister live entertainment and hundreds of horrifying creatures lurking in the fog and hiding in every corner of the park waiting for you. Haunting Halloween activities plus some of the most exhilarating night rides in the country, including The Beast, Orion, Diamondback, Mystic Timbers and Banshee make this one of the best things to do for Halloween in the Cincinnati area.

Some of the new attractions this year, according to WLWT include:

  • Haunted Maze: Explore the abandoned Hotel St. Michelle, named after the manager's missing daughter

  • New scare zone: Alien X takes you through Area 72 where you can find displays of alien creatures who have been contained

  • New show: Watch the NyteWalkers, where the acrobatic and action sports world meets Zombies

  • New show: Terror Rising, watch as the "skull squad" combines the rhythmic step moves of five dancers with thrash, EDM and heavy metal.

You can check out all of the rides and attractions that will be open during Kings Island's Halloween Haunts by clicking here.
