Historic Newburgh Inc. is a nonprofit that helps to promote all of the exciting shops and eateries in downtown Newburgh.
Mission: HNI is a nonprofit Main Street Organization dedicated to promoting and maintaining the character and growth of downtown Newburgh for its residents and visitors.
Historic Newburgh Inc also hosts many fun events in downtown Newburgh. If you've ever heard of the legendary Newburgh Ghost Walks, those are hosted by Historic Newburgh Inc. They also host fun new events like Halloween Illuminations, Newburgh Winterlights, and the Holiday Light Parade. Coming up in May they are hosting a fun beer and wine festival that will coincide with the Kentucky Derby!

The upcoming Beer and Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, and will be complete with all the beer and wine you can handle. Throughout the event, you will be able to taste all different kinds of beer and wine while enjoying live music, and even the Kentucky Derby.
Get ready for our 2nd Annual Historic Newburgh Beer & Wine Festival! Enjoy sampling a collection of local wines and beer while taking in our amazing river views and watching the Kentucky Derby LIVE on an outdoor screen!
Join us at the Old Lock and Dam Park for an all-day celebration of sipping, sampling, and socializing with friends, all while supporting our non-profit organization. We'll have live music throughout the day, a Derby themed raffle contest, a Derby best-dressed contest, the Kentucky Derby shown LIVE and a wide selection of food trucks! Event runs from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024. Tickets will be offered for sale on our website. Tickets are not required to visit the food trucks.All proceeds from the festival will directly support Historic Newburgh, Inc.We are currently looking to secure sponsors and volunteers.
