Teresa was nominated by Dennis Jones. Here's what he had to say about Teresa:

Teresa has worked at Transcendent in Owensville, IN for a total of 11yrs. Caring for the elderly of the Tri-State is a different kind of nursing. Where she builds relationships with her patients. Showing them unconditional love & maintaining their dignity & lifting their spirits during their last days. Death is unfortunately part of her job. So, she does everything she can within her ability to show her patients love, to help them laugh & to fight for them as one of their strongest advocates when it's required. Which during this pandemic, she's done more than once. Which has helped adjust policy & procedure within the facility. Keeping the entire patient roster list Covid-19 free. The Administrator tells everyone, don't sneeze around Teresa. She'll make you leave the property. He's saying this jokingly, but serious none the less.

From all of us here at 99.5 WKDQ, Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union, and the Tri-State, THANK YOU Teresa for all you do each day! We appreciate you!

Do you know a nursing professional who goes above and beyond to make a difference? We want to hear about them so we can give them the proper thank you they deserve. Nominate your favorite nursing professional in the Tri-State and share a personal story of their dedication and service to the community!

Help us say thank you to our tri-state nursing professionals for everything they do for our community. Nominate your favorite Tri-State nurse now!
