Naked Man Arrested on Kentucky Highway: “Getting Pants”
A Kentucky man is facing multiple charges after a bizarre stroll along the highway in his birthday suit.
It is a strange world that we live in. You never really know what you might encounter out there. That's especially true for our police officers. Some of the calls they receive can be downright bizarre. While some days might be less eventful than others, I'd be willing to bet that police officers could tell you some pretty wild stories. Case in point, what happened earlier this week when Kentucky police responded to calls about a naked man walking on a highway.
Naked Kentucky Man Arrested on Quest to Find Pants
A Monticello, Kentucky man was arrested earlier this week after police responded to multiple calls of a man walking along a rural highway, KY 3286. When police arrived to the scene, they spotted James K. King right there in his birthday suit. First off, it's been way too chilly out to walk outside of the house in shorts, let alone nothing at all. When the cops found him, one officer asked what he was up to, and he said he was "going to get some pants."

I have so many questions. Where was he before he left that he didn't have a pair of pants to put on? Where did he plan on going to get pants if he didn't have a wallet on him? Also, how long had he been walking in his birthday suit before the police got to him? But at least he was aware that he needed to get some pants.
According to WYMT, officers said he appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance and became disorderly, repeatedly kicking the door of a patrol car while being taken to jail. King was charged with indecent exposure (second degree), public intoxication (controlled substance), and disorderly conduct (second degree).
As it turns out, he also had six outstanding warrants, which include multiple counts of contempt of court, failure to appear, public intoxication, criminal trespassing, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Court records also showed that the Kentucky man left rehab on an agreed order related to several of the underlying charges. You can see the story in the video below. Just skip to the three minute mark.
