Though Morgan has made some surprise appearances on concert stages recently, this will be be his first major headlining appearance since his comeback.  In February of this year, video of Morgan surfaced that captured him using a racial slur with his friends.  He was temporarily suspended from his record label and contract, his music was pulled from a variety of major radio and TV networks across the country and he was disqualified from consideration for the ACM Awards.

After some time away from the spotlight, Wallen resurfaced in a Good Morning America interview on July 23rd. In that interview he shared apologies for the incident.  A little over a week later, Jason Aldean brought Morgan on stage during a Luke Bryan concert in Nashville.  That was his first true "concert" appearance since the scandal.

The concert news today is certainly an indication that he is back.
