I love Mesker Park Zoo, and like most tri-staters, I have many fond memories of going there as a kid. Mesker seems to grow and add more great attractions all the time, it already looks totally different from when I was a kid. And now they're planning on adding one of their most exciting attractions yet! 

PENGUINS!!!!

Yes, you read that right, there could be PENGUINS RIGHT HERE IN EVANSVILLE INDIANA!  That's so exciting, because lets be honest, penguins are one of the top 5 cutest animals on the face of the planet.

The only BAD thing about this?   It'll probably be 3-5 years before the penguins are here.  But that's okay, we've waited this long, I don't think 3-5 more years are going to kill us.  Plus I want them to make sure the exhibit is just perfect for my favorite flightless bird friends so they can have long happy lives at Mesker!
