Melissa’s Top 10 Favorite Movies From the 90s!
The 90s were an all around good time for everything pop culture. We had the rise of the grunge era, the rise of the boy bands, and a lot of classic movies came out. Here's my top 10 favorite movies from the 90s.
Now I want to go ahead and apologize first because oh man, I didn't realize how eclectic my taste was until I made this list... Also I'm super indecisive so this is my top 10 favorites, I tried to put them in a particular order, but I struggle with ranking things I like... haha
- 1
The Lion King- 1994
When I was a kid I couldn't sleep or do anything without my beloved stuffed animal Simba, this movie is a Disney classic! And I still cry when Mufasa dies... :(
- 2
Edward Scissorhands-1990
Two of my favorite things, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, need I say more?
- 3
Mrs. Doubtfire- 1993
With Robin Williams in it, you know Mrs. Doubtfire is a hilarious classic
- 4
Fight Club- 1999
The first rule of Fight Club...we don't talk about Fight Club.
- 5
Waynes World- 1994
It's all about rock n' roll and the 90s, two of my favorite things! Party one Wayne...
- 6
The Sandlot -1993
I grew up with a love of baseball, so of course one of my all time favorite movies is all about America's favorite past time! Don't be an L-7 WEENIE you know The Sandlot is awesome

Benny and Joon- 1993
I'm a huge Johnny Depp fan, so of course a couple of his movies are going to make this list. Benny and Joon is one of my favorite Johnny Depp movies, the story is so sweet, we even had a couple songs from this movie in our wedding.
- 9
Toy Story-1995
I remember seeing this movie in theaters! Toy Story was the first theatrical film produced by Pixar, which is crazy to think because now whenever you hear about a movie being a Pixar movie, you know it'll be really good!
- 10
Jurassic Park-1993
Jurrasic Park is a classic!
