Melissa Tests a Makeup Secret That Can Save You Money!

So I've been seeing everywhere people sharing a tip that if your foundation is running low, cut open the container and scoop it out into a smaller container to get more use.  I figured ehhh this probably doesn't work, but when my favorite super expensive foundation was running low I decided to give it a shot, AND IT WORKED! 

Here's the foundation I use, it comes in a tube like this:

It's my FAVORITE, but it is a little on the pricey side, and I don't have a lot of money to be spending all the time, so when my foundation was not coming out anymore I was super bummed.  Until I remembered what I saw online! I saw on Buzzfeed that if your makeup is running out to cut it open and scoop it out into a small container.  I figure this wouldn't work, but I thought there was probably so little product left in the tube.  WRONG I cut the top off the tube, and scooped the foundation out with a butter knife, I got enough for a couple more weeks worth of foundation! Hey no shame in saving a few bucks!
