Today was a very special day at Meadow Lands Elementary School. They accepted a check for $25,000 for Daviess County Public Schools. As the recounts of the grant, DCPS  will use the money to help enhance agriculture education.

The grant, nominated by local famers, through America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education, sponsored by the Bayer Fund, is given to enhance the recipient schools science, technology, engineering and math programs. With this grant Daviess County Public Schools will be able to provide their elementary schools with special science equipment kits.

Take a look at the the presentation of the check, The kids were so excited.

I had fun too.
