Madisonville Police Officers Help Make A Dream Come True!
Police officers of Madisonville, KY were making dreams come true for a special girl today! They were contacted by the Kids Wish Network to help surprise a special lady with her dream wish of going to Disney World. According to their facebook page, Miss Laila has a rare form of epilepsy, that had caused her to have seizures over a 100 times a day. Now the 8 year old has about 1 to 4 a day with medical treatment. When she grows up, she wants to be a police office. The officers took their job seriously in aiding in this surprise.
Today Miss Laila was sworn in, wearing her own uniform, talked on the radio, rode in the cop car, and was greeted with 5 of her favorite princesses when she returned. She then learned of the trip to Disney!
I'm thankful for police officers, and proud that these men and women do what they do every day. Things like this are what makes life great.
