Local Photographer Needs Your Face For Evansville Book

I gotta say, I think this is a great idea. Local photographer, Vanessa Powell, born in Germany but raised in Evansville, wants to put together a book of photos of people from Evansville. One face photo, according to the year you were born - 1920 to 2020, will be chosen to represent each of the years.

Vanessa made a video to explain the reason why she wants to take on this incredible project.

If you would like your face to be considered for the book all you have to do is apply. According to her Facebook page and website here is what you need to know.

The Plan

*1 portrait per birth year between 1920-2020
*Mass produce a self- published book with all of these individuals
*Must be ok with: full birth date, first name & photograph being published in the book -must sign a waiver
*Must be born in Evansville and lived in Evansville most of your life -applications will be accepted from those that live in Evansville but born at Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN
