The CMA Awards show is about so much more than the artists nominated for the big trophies and the ones performing on TV.  CMA week is about all the artists in country music.  It's even about those stars that are hoping to be nominated one day on the biggest night in country.  The CMA conducted interviews with some of this area's favorite up-and-comers earlier this week.
