It was great to see my friends Burns and Poe back in Evansville for their shows at Casino Aztar March 23rd and 24th.  They stopped by the WKDQ studio to say "Hello" and play their single, "I Need A Job" for WKDQ.com Live!

They've been called "Country's Barbie and Ken" or even the "Sonny and Cher of Country."  No matter what you call them, you better be at Hoosier's Lounge inside Casino Aztar when they come to perform March 23 and 24.  They are Burns and Poe, and you will be entertained by their music and their sense of humor.

Country stars celebrate the holidays just like you and I.  WAMZ caught up with artists backstage at the CMAs to find our their plans!!! :-)

The CMA Awards show is about so much more than the artists nominated for the big trophies and the ones performing on TV.  CMA week is about all the artists in country music.  It's even about those stars that are hoping to be nominated one day on the biggest night in country...

So good to have my friends Burns and Poe back in the studio this afternoon.  They are just truly great people, and I think you'll enjoy their music as well.

Keith Burns, one half of the duo named 2010 Independent Artist of the Year, Burns and Poe recently learned that his daughter has been diagnosed with Leukemia.  Burns, who was formerly part of the group, Trick Pony, fled to Georgia to be at 18-year-old Savannah's side when he learned of the diagnosis...
