Local Artist Paints Christmas Murals For Newburgh Elementary

Local artist, Lauren Morefield, painted some incredible murals on the windows at Newburgh Elementary. Lauren's son attends the school so the teacher asked her if she would paint some murals for the kids leading up to the holidays. They are amazing.

I asked her how she got started as an artist.

For as long as I can remember my mother raised us pushing the arts and our creative side. We were allowed to paint on walls as small children.

Lauren and her sister have their own business.
