Local Animal Rescue Needs Your Help!

PAAWS is a local animal rescue in dire need of help! 

We received a message on our facebook page from Shaunna with PAAWS animal rescue and they are in dire need of some help! With caring for so many cats and dogs their supplies have run low and their money is running short.  Not only do they have many great dogs and cats that are up for adoption to take care of, they also have 7+ dogs that are heartworm positive, and if you know anything about heartworms, the treatments are NOT cheap.  And to top it all off they just received 4 puppies who are battling with mange.

Along with needing monetary donations the rescue can also use donations of things like leashes, harnesses, cat food, dog food, kitty litter, and anything else you could think of that a dog or cat might need!

Tomorrow night they are having a dine out night at Hacienda on First Avenue, where 20% of sales will be going to PAAWS.  So go and enjoy some good food and show them this certificate to make sure 20% from your meal goes to PAAWS.  You don't even have to print it you can show it right on your phone!

As you know, there is an extremely big place in my heart for local rescues, and all that they do to make sure these great pets get good homes.   My Wrigley was a rescue, and I have to say rescued pets make the best kind!
