Five Items You Need for a Perfectly Peachy Summer in Indiana
Summer is just around the corner, and I can't wait to spend my days in the backyard grilling, on the lake fishing, and hopefully in the car on a road trip or two. However, one of my favorite things about the warm-weather season is the release of all the summer-related products. For me, I love peach-flavored things, and summer just so happens to be the time when we get a wide variety of peachy goodness. Here are some that I'll be stocking at my house in the coming weeks:
Kinder's Bourbon Peach Wing Sauce
If you don't know by now, I love grilling, so it would make sense that a peach-flavored barbecue sauce would find itself on this list. In my opinion, Kinder's makes some of the best stuff, from rubs and spices to sauces and marinades. The above peach-flavored sauce is one of my favorites to use not only on smoked chicken wings but also on pulled pork and ribs. If you want to get extra peachy with your barbecue, Kinder's also sells Bourbon Peach Seasoning and Rub. Luckily, both products are available year-round.
Busch Light Peach Beer
Busch Light is my go-to beer, so their peach-flavored brew is definitely at the top of my summer shopping list. Sadly, this beer is seasonal, so you can only get it a few months out of the year. I saw it just hit shelves over the past couple of weeks, so I'll be stocking up.
Crush Caffeine Free Peach Soda Pop
If you prefer to have a nonalcoholic peach beverage this season, the Crush Peach Soda Pop is the way to go. Crush offers several other great summer flavors as well, like their orange, grape, lemon, or even watermelon-flavored soda. However, the peach is usually only available in the summer, so you might want to get your fill of that first before it leaves store shelves.
Peach Mango Cheerios Cereal
This next item is brand new and is one I haven't yet gotten my hands on. I love Honey Nut Cheerios, as it's one of the many quick breakfast staples at my house. As I love Cheerios and love peaches, it would make sense that I would like this, right? They do throw some mango in there, but I don't think it will be much different from the other fruity cereals on the market.
Trolli PEACHIE O'S Gummi Candy
Last but certainly not least, we have to include Trolli PEACHIE O'S Gummi Candy. I love these things, but have since started buying the generic version from Walmart to save a few bucks here and there. In my opinion, they pack the same peachy flavor and gummy texture I've come to really like. Both are available all year. Do you have a favorite peach-flavored item you think should be included on this list?
