There was a very scary moment last Friday at the Little league World Series that turned out fine thanks to the player's cap. Huntington Beach, Ca. pitcher Braydon Salzman appeared to be hit in the face by a line drive that knocked the pitcher to the ground. Salzman got to his knees, put his hands to his face and went down again. Coaches and staff rushed to the mound and after a minute or two, Salzman got up and resumed pitching. Slow motion replay shows the line drive hit the brim of Salzman's cap and missed his face completely. Salzman's team won the game by the way 11-0. See for yourself how lucky this kid was.
