Leslie’s Daily To-Do’s – Remember Grandma’s Circles of Goodness, Deviled Eggs

To me, EVERY day is a reason to celebrate!!! Every morning on the show, I break the celebrating down for you by telling you 'Today is...' Here is how I plan on celebrating TODAY!!!

Today is......November 2

All Soul's Day, Look for Circles Day and National Deviled Egg Day are all TODAY! So, celebrating is simple for me.

My grandma made THE best Deviled Eggs which are in the shape of a circle!!! YES!!! I have been looking for a reason to make her Deviled egg/ Deviled ham recipe. But I can't really share it with you because Grandma never used a written recipe, only her taste buds. I did, however, find a similar recipe at Taste of Home.

Ingredients:

8 hard-cooked eggs

1/4 cup deviled ham spread

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

1/4 cup sweet pickle relish

1/3 cup finely chopped celery

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon prepared mustard

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

Paprika

Directions - Slice eggs in half lengthwise; remove yolks and set whites aside. In a small bowl, mash yolks with a fork. Add the next eight ingredients; mix well. Stuff or pipe into egg whites. Refrigerate until serving. Sprinkle with paprika. Yield: 8 servings.
