While you're plotting your entertainment expenses for 2024--Happy New Year, by the way--you might want to make note of an impressive line-up of talent expected to grace the stage of a popular western Kentucky venue.

The Kentucky Opry simply does NOT disappoint, and it's stepping up to the plate in the coming year to prove that point with a star-studded line-up of some of your favorite 80s and 90s country superstars.

Shenandoah

One of the 90s most popular bands brings its 15 top ten hits and five number ones to the Opry Saturday, February 3rd.

Collin Raye

From 1992 through 2000, Collin Raye was one of country music's most prolific artists, racking up 21 top ten hits--including 11 straight from '92 through '95--and four chart toppers. He'll have a lot of ground to cover Friday, February 16th.

Lorrie Morgan

Lorrie's 14 top ten hits include three number one smashes, and this one, which is one of her signature hits. Thankfully, her busy schedule has allowed her to visit Kentucky Opry on Saturday, March 9th.

The Kentucky Headhunters

Someone commented below that these tickets are going fast. Contact Kentucky Opry for an update. But I'll tell you this, that would surprise me in the slightest. I've seen these guys four times. It's always different, fun, and LOUD. If you've never seen them, you should. They'll light up the KY Opry stage Saturday, April 6th.

T. Graham Brown

One of the most soulful voices in country music history will team up with his good friend--that OTHER "T.G."--T.G. Sheppard for "TNT Dynamite" on Saturday, April 27th.

Confederate Railroad

Here's another fun band. I'm not sure if the guys will save "Trashy Women" for the finale, but I certainly would. I guess we'll find out Saturday, April 18th.

The Bellamy Brothers

The legendary duo had big hits in the 70s--including the iconic smash below--the 80s, and the 90s. I predict at least one medley to cover a lot of bases. David and Howard will certainly HAVE a lot of bases to cover on Saturday, June 1st.

Gene Watson

This country music legend brings a long list of classics with him to western Kentucky on Saturday, October 12th. And if you've never heard Gene Watson's silky smooth pipes--unaffected by time, by the way--you're in for a treat.

Aaron Tippin

One of the most entertaining country stars--and one of the NICEST--I've ever seen will tear it up on the Kentucky Opry stage October 26th. Aaron Tippin ALWAYS brings it.

And if you love a good cover band, Kentucky Opry has you covered. Alyssa and Wayne Brewer will bring "George Jones and Tammy Wynette Tribute" to Benton KY on August 10th. And a week later, on August 17th, the Eagles tribute band, Hotel California, will take the stage.
