This fizzy festival is sure to be filled with plenty of fun, food, and of course mimosas!

Bubbly Goodness

One thing I have begun to enjoy is brunch.  I love meeting friends and enjoying breakfast food while sipping on a mimosa.  If you've never had a mimosa, they're a fairly straightforward cocktail, a mimosa is champagne and orange juice.  That's it.  Of course, you can always substitute champagne for sparkling wine, or you can use sparkling grape juice for a non-alcoholic option.  I've personally never met a mimosa I didn't like, so when I heard that the Bluegrass State was home to a festival celebrating this delicious cocktail, I had to learn more.

Kentucky's Unique Festivals

Recently, I learned that Kentucky was home to the Beer Cheese Festival, which sounds delicious.  This festival celebrates all things beer cheese (or some like to call it "pub cheese") and is held in the birthplace of beer cheese.  So with learning about the beer cheese festival, I did a deep dive into unique Kentucky festivals, and the mimosa fest is one I now have on my radar!

Kentucky's Mimosa Festival

The Louisville Mimosa Festival is just what it sounds like, a festival celebrating the bubble bliss that you get from indulging in a mimosa. The mimosa festival will take place on September 7th. The festival doesn't just have mimosas though.

The festival will have plenty of vendors selling goods and crafts, food trucks, and more.

The one-day fest is poppin’ up at Mellwood Art & Entertainment Center celebrating community, culture, mimosas, & more!
Beverage stations will be serving refreshing mimosas throughout the festival. There will be live music performances and a DJ to keep the sounds going. Locally loved food vendors will be selling food separately. Shop with our festival market and support small business

Even Better, This Festival is FREE!
