This historic home is outside of my tax bracket, but it's quite incredible.

Historic Homes

I have always thought it would be amazing to live in a historic home.  Imagine living in a place with so much character, and a lot of history.   If only walls could talk! It would be fascinating to hear some of the stories of things that happened within the walls of historic homes.  Not to mention historic homes hold so much character and charm. A stunning Victorian-style home in Louisville recently hit the market, and even though it is way out of my budget (let's be real, it's out of my whole tax bracket) the photos have me drooling.

The Victorian Era

The Victorian era took place from around 120-1914 and influenced many things from culture to architecture.  According to Brittanica:

Victorian era, in British history, the period between approximately 1820 and 1914, corresponding roughly but not exactly to the period of Queen Victoria’s reign (1837–1901).

The Victorian era even influenced America, and you can see some of that architectural influence on this historic home in Louisville.

History Meets Luxury

Located in Louisville is a gorgeous Victorian mansion that was built in 1885.  This home has been remodeled over the years and the only way to describe this mansion is history meets modern luxury.   As much as I would love to live in a house like this, it's currently listed for a whopping $1,125,000 so it's out of my tax bracket.  But we can dream, right?
