Experience The Aquarium After Dark For A Fun-filled Night
What happens after the lights go out at the aquarium? You can find out at this unique After Dark event!
Newport Aquarium
Newport Aquarium is located in Newport, Kentucky, just across the river from Cincinnati, and there's something for everyone.
Newport Aquarium is not only home to thousands of sea creatures, but it's also home to the world's first-ever Shark Bridge (a rope bridge across a shark tank, what could go wrong?). If you've never been, it's certainly worth the drive to take a trip to see this place in person. The aquarium often hosts unique events, but one coming up in August just might be the most unique event I've seen, because you get a unique chance to explore the aquarium...at night!

Newport Aquarium Hosting Unique After Dark Event
On August 8th, the Newport Aquarium is giving folks the chance to explore the aquarium at night.
During the event, you can explore the aquarium after hours by the light of your glow stick and see what really happens after dark.
Your Aquarium After Dark adventure begins as you enter the Aquarium after public operating hours and are greeted by a special animal ambassador. After the encounter, you will have a chance to satisfy your nighttime cravings at a pizza party with a creepy, crawly twist! You’ll learn about the eating habits of some of the Aquarium’s residents, including bugs and worms. You may even get to try one yourself – covered in candy of course!
This is an all-ages event that will run from 7:15 to 11:00 at night.
There will be a unique animal encounter, an after-dark scavenger hunt, and of course, the experience of getting to see the Newport Aquarium after the lights go out. If this sounds like a good time to you, you can get your tickets through the Newport Aquarium website.
