Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Cody Johnson, and still to come this year, Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black. In 2023, Kane Brown, Old Dominion, will be rolling into the Ford Center, and Jason Isbell will be coming to the Victory Theatre. Now we know another act that will be coming to Evansville early next year...and this might be one of the biggest shows to come to Evansville in a long time.
Kenny Chesney Coming to Evansville
That's right, one of the biggest names in country music over the past 20+ years, Kenny Chesney will be bringing his "I Go Back 2023" tour to the Ford Center in 2023.
After over 20 years in the business, 32 number-one hit songs, twelve CMA Awards, including four for Entertainer of the Year, eleven ACM Awards, including four for Entertainer of the Year, and six Grammy nominations. Chesney has had a storied career selling out arenas and stadiums all over the world. Kenny hasn't played in Evansville since 2015, but in 2023, that's all about to change.
The "I Go Back 2023 Tour" will be making a stop in Evansville on May 20, 2023. Coming along with Kenny for this tour stop will be Kelsea Ballerini. Chesney and Ballerini are no strangers to performing together, as they have a hit duet called "half of my hometown".
