If you ever get the pleasure of meeting Keith Urban, I guarantee you will be blown away by how genuinely kind he is, and last week a special 6-year-old Illinois boy got to find this out for himself.

Peoria Boy's Special Moment With Keith Urban

As a HUGE Keith Urban fan, I am always looking for reasons to sing his praises, and this morning I found a REALLY good reason!

Last Friday night, Keith Urban played at the Peoria Civic Center and 6-year-old Kellen Hammock of Monticello, Illinois was there in the front row. Kellen's parents, Whitney Donaldson and Chase Hammock told WCIA in Champaign that Kellen "spends his days listening to Urban’s music, watching concert videos on his iPad and impersonating Urban move by move", but that is not the coolest part of this story...Kellen is.

When Kellen was born he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus which is a non-life-threatening condition that resulted in a hole in his skull. In 6 years Kellen has had 10 surgeries and was never expected to walk or talk, but that is exactly what he started doing at 3 years old. Kellen's latest surgery was a cornea transplant that requires wearing protective goggles 24 hours a day, which he refused to wear... until his parents showed him a picture of Keith Urban in glasses.

(Do you have all the good goosies right now? I sure do! Wait, it gets better)

After the first two songs of Keith Urban's show in Peoria, this amazing moment happened...

@whitd13 @keithurban thank you for making our son’s dreams come true #fyp#countrymusic#hydrocephalusawareness#peoriaciviccenter♬ original sound - Whitney Donaldson
Kellen obviously had his Keith dreams come true, but how did his parents feel?
Kellen's mom Whitney told WCIA;
As parents of a special needs child, we have seen Kellen beat every obstacle thrown his way, with a smile on his face and the best personality. The fact that Keith Urban was humble enough to stop his concert, speak with our son, ask about his story, and give him a hug, it was the best feeling as parents watching our son’s dreams come true.”
And now I need a tissue.
