How You Can See Jordan Davis for Free in Western Kentucky
Jordan Davis is heading back to school, so to speak, for a free show at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.
Jordan is currently on tour in support of his new album, Bluebird Days which he released in February, and will perform as part of the tailgate festivities ahead of the Hilltoppers' home game against Liberty on Tuesday, October 24th.
The show is scheduled to start at 5:00 PM Central time in the Lower South Lawn tailgate area and last one hour. The show is open to the public, even if you have no intention of going to the football game which is scheduled to kick-off at 6:30 PM. However, if you do plan on attending the game after the show, officials are encouraging fans to wear black to match the team who will be wearing their black jerseys for the game that will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
Since breaking through in 2018 with his debut album, Home State, Jordan Davis has been one of country music's hottest artists. His debut single, "Singles You Up" was a number-one hit and was certified two times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Since then, he's had three more singles reach number one; "Slow Dance in a Parking Lot," "What My World Spins Around," and "Buy Dirt (feat. Luke Bryan)." The last of which earned him the Song of the Year Award at the 2022 CMA Awards.
His current single, "Next Thing You Know" got as high as number two on Billboard's Country Airplay Chart.
The South Lawn where the show is scheduled to take place will open at 4:00 PM on the 24th with space available on a first-come, first-served basis.
