99.5 WKDQ is excited to announce another concert coming to Evansville that you won't want to miss.

In 2022, we have had a lot of great concerts come to Evansville. Some of the artists that have made their way to Evansville this year include Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn, Jamey Johnson and Randy Houser, Travis Tritt, Morgan Wallen, and Gary Allan. Then there are the acts still to come in 2022 like Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black, and Cody Johnson. That's a lot of concerts, but the announcements for shows coming to Evansville don't stop there. In 2023, Kane Brown will be rolling into the Ford Center, and now we know another act that will be coming to Evansville early next year.

Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit Coming to The Victory Theatre

Four-time Grammy Award winner, Jason Isbell will be coming to the Victory Theatre along with his band, The 400 Unit. Isbell broke through in 2013 with the release of Southeastern. His next two albums, Something More Than Free (2015) and The Nashville Sound (2017), won Grammy Awards for Best Americana Album & Best American Roots Song. Isbell's song "Maybe It's Time" was featured in the 2019 reboot of A Star Is Born. However, the first song that I can remember hearing from him was one that I played over and over again. It was later covered by Morgan Wallen, gaining even more attention as a great song. That song, of course, is "Cover Me Up".

Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit will be coming to the Victory Theatre on Friday, January 27, 2023. Tickets for the concert go on sale this Friday, September 30th at 10 a.m. You can get your tickets at the Ford Center Box Office and Ticketmaster.com.

99.5 WKDQ will also have your chance to win a pair of tickets to see Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit on the Afternoon Show with me, Travis Sams the week of October 3rd.
