Jason Aldean Contributes $460K More to Fight Against Cancer at 2018 Concert for the Cure
While Jason Aldean has long supported the fight against cancer, his impact is most obvious when he hosts his annual Concert for the Cure event.
This year's fundraiser was held at the star's new Kitchen + Rooftop Bar on Oct. 3, where Aldean presented a check for $459,509 to the Susan G. Komen Central Tennessee chapter — money raised by ticket sales from his 2018 High Noon Neon Tour.
"All year long on the road, we hear stories from fans about how they’ve been affected by breast cancer,” says Aldean, who has over the years helped raise more than $4.1 million for Susan G. Komen. "It’s crazy how just about everyone is close to someone who is or has fought this horrible disease."
"We’re going to keep doing our part in hopes that we never have to lose someone to breast cancer again," he adds.

2018's Concert for the Cure was undoubtedly yet another emotional moment during a week that has seen its share of emotional moments for Aldean. On Monday (Oct. 1), Aldean joined fans across the country in a moment of silence to reflect on the one year anniversary of the Route 91 Harvest Festival tragedy, which left 58 country music fans dead.
While Aldean's tour schedule has come to a close for 2018, the Georgia native has much to look forward to — he and his wife, Brittany, are awaiting the arrival of their second child together, the singer's fourth.
