Maple Sugarbush Festival Returns to Wesselman Woods in Evansville
What To Expect At The Maple Sugarbush Festival
Wesselman Woods is bringing back its beloved annual Maple Sugarbush Festival and Pancake Breakfast. This longtime community tradition is more than just breakfast, though. Your admission gets you all festival activities, plus unlimited pancakes, two sausage links, and unlimited coffee, orange juice, and milk.
And what you’re putting on top of those pancakes is the real star of the show. We’re talking about real Indiana maple syrup, straight from Harris Sugarbush in Greencastle, Indiana.
Dates, Times, and Ticket Information
The Maple Sugarbush Festival and Pancake Breakfast is happening March 7 and 8, 2026, from 7am-1pm each day at the Wesselman Woods Nature Center.
Tickets are sold in pre-scheduled time slots (7am, 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am, and noon), so make sure you get yours in advance so you can flock in your preferred time. Admission is $18 for adults (13+), $12 for kids ages 3-12, and little ones under 3 get in free. Wesselman Woods members even score $3 off each ticket. You can purchase tickets online in advance or stop by the Nature Center front desk. Remaining tickets will be sold at the event, but keep in mind that indoor seating may be limited.
A Fundraiser Supporting Wesselman Woods
The Sugarbush Festival is also a fundraiser that supports Wesselman Woods and its mission to connect our community with nature. This year’s event is made possible thanks to generous local sponsors, including Window World, Romain Subaru, Prairie Farms, the Ruder Foundation, and Ancient Roots Native Nursery.

It’s family-friendly, delicious, and a great way to celebrate late winter while dreaming of spring. So bring your appetite, bring the kids, and come see why this Evansville tradition is something folks look forward to year after year.
