The City of Evansville has a new face helping strengthen connections between City Hall and the people who call the River City home.

A New Voice for Community Engagement

Mayor Stephanie Terry has announced the appointment of Gabrielle Miller as Evansville's new Community Affairs & Special Projects Director, a role focused on building relationships, listening to residents, and making sure community voices are heard.

What Gabrielle Miller Will Do for Mayor Terry

In her new position, Gabrielle will serve as a bridge between the Mayor's Office and neighborhood associations, nonprofit organizations, and community partners across Evansville. She'll help gather feedback from residents, assist with city events and communications, and develop programs designed to address the needs of local neighborhoods.

Over the past decade, Gabrielle has built a career centered on education, healthcare, wellness, and community service. Most recently, she taught Human Services and Criminal Justice as an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech Community College. Before that, she worked with both the Warrick County and Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporations, where she created youth programs aimed at helping underserved students succeed academically while addressing behavioral challenges.
