Mark Your Calendar for the 2026 Christmas Parade

Event organizers have officially locked in the date for the 2026 Christmas on North Main Parade: Sunday, November 22. And this year's theme is a showstopper — "Soundtrack of America," a musical celebration honoring the nation's 250th birthday. Think marching bands, festive floats, and a whole lot of holiday cheer set to the tune of American history. It's part Fourth of July spirit, part Christmas magic, all wrapped up in one unforgettable afternoon.

Here's the 2026 Christmas on North Main Parade Schedule

• 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Santa's Workshop opens at the Dream Center Gym, giving little ones (and let's be honest, plenty of big kids too) a chance to visit with Santa before the parade kicks off.
• 2:30 p.m.: The parade officially begins!
• 5 p.m.: Festivities wrap up after a full afternoon of holiday fun.

The parade route runs along North Main Street, from Division Street to Garvin Park. The route is always packed, so grab your favorite curbside spot early.

"Trees for a Cause" Adds a New Holiday Tradition

This Christmas parade has a brand-new element to the celebration: Trees for a Cause. Local nonprofits will decorate trees for a festive community display, giving attendees a chance to learn about valuable local resources while they stroll through. Then, the public gets to vote for their favorite tree! The top three winners take home bragging rights and prizes.
