Popular Western Kentucky Restaurant Closes for Good
Signal 5 in Central City has permanently closed, effective today. Josh and Tina Beatty opened in the former Brothers Bar-B-Que location one year ago. The restaurant is now for sale. Here's what we know.
Signal 5 was a casual dining destination offering a variety of lunch and dinner options. It was a perfect spot for family and friends to enjoy different cuts of meat including Emu. Yes, they even had Emu on the menu! The restaurant garnered rave reviews from its patrons after it opened its doors last year. The name of the restaurant and the decor were meant to honor all first responders. Everyone felt comfortable as soon as they walked through the door. This is why news of its closing shocked the community. The restaurant closed for good on March 19th, 2024.
That's sad, we ate there the other day and it was awesome. - Debbie Johnson Haliday
I hate to see you close. The food, staff, and atmosphere there are wonderful. - Jason Dickinson
