Meet the Burgers: See Photos of the 2026 Owensboro Burger Week $8 Burgers

Are you hungry and are you ready? Owensboro Burger Week 2026 is just a couple of weeks away and the excitement is already building. While Monday, February 16th, marks the official deadline for participating restaurants to register and submit their entries, we have already collected photos and descriptions of a bunch of them. This year's batch of burgers- at least from the early previews- looks creative and tasty.

Here's your very first glimpse of some of the $8 burgers that will be competing for the title of "The Best Burger in Owensboro."

WHEN IS OWENSBORO BURGER WEEK 2026?

This year's Burger Week, which gets underway on Thursday, March 5th and runs through Saturday, March 14th, is expected to include a record number of restaurants. Already, there a handful of participants in the mix for the first time. Some examples- Lic's Deli and Ice Cream, 1885 Cocktail Bar, Big Whiskey's, Hillbilly's BBQ, Thai Food of Owensboro, Breakfast Express LLC, and more.

There has been buzz surrounding Owensboro Burger Week 2026 since way back in August, when Kim's Diner, the two-time defending German American Bank People's Choice Award winner, debuted their latest entry- The Mamasita!

While Kim's Diner won the 2025 People's Choice Award, Niko's Bakery & Cafe took the title of Best Overall Burger, as determined by the panel of Burger Week judges.
