Nothing says summertime like a good ole hot dog! I can't believe it's already July! I'm sure lots of folks will be firing up the grill for Independence Day, but the second most important holiday in July happens on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Wienermobile vs. Wienerboat

A man in Ohio has already gotten a jump on things. He has been spotted steering a hot dog-shaped boat along the Maumee River in Northwest Ohio. I thought the only wiener-shaped vehicle was the one with wheels! Oscar Mayer's infamous wienermobile has some stiff competition I never knew about until now.

"The Edmund Glizzgerald"

Caden Sonnenberg from Napoleon, Ohio, is the captain of this one-seater vessel he has named "The Edmund Glizzgerald."  Sharing that the boat was built in the 1970s for promotional events, Caden knew it needed some structural and cosmetic work to get the "Biggest Wiener in Ohio" out on the water.
