Owensboro Convention Center to Host Kentucky Plant Show This Month

I wish I had a greener thumb! I do have a couple of plants that I have been able to keep alive AND happy for a few years now. They are the ones that are OK with me forgetting about them for a week or so. That doesn't keep me from trying to grow my in-home nursery (or hospice in some cases, however you want to look at it).

Thankfully, my mom is a plant-whisperer and helps me out when I need it. I also have a friend who REALLY got into plants during 2020. I think it was one of those hobbies, like baking bread, that people discovered and latched onto. It's certainly a useful hobby to have, and so fun to collect new types of plants.

The 3rd Annual Kentucky Plant Show at the Owensboro Convention Center

The Owensboro Convention Center is hosting the 3rd Annual Kentucky Plant Show on March 28th. From 10 AM to 4 PM, you'll be able to shop from local vendors and shops from across the country. Admission is $10 cash or $12 with a card, and that gives you access to shop, swap, and talk plants with other enthusiasts. Kids 15 and under are free!

I love the swap wall idea! Bring plant starts to trade with other folks for starts you may not already have. As you can see, there will be all types of plants for sale from common to rare, as well as apparel, pots, soil mixes, herbs, and more. Do you have a house plant collection?
