A sweet little house in the Poet Area of Owensboro, KY is the inspiration behind Blue House Fragrances.  A garden bursting with flowers, a cozy living room full of memories, and vintage wallpaper, are a few of the special things Madison Jones cherishes about growing up in that home. "Needless to say, this home and the people in it helped to mold and shape me into who I am today."

Madison is an Owensboro native and mama to four growing boys who went in search of a creative outlet during the COVID pandemic.  She told me, "I felt extremely BLAH, just everything in my life was just gray. I desperately needed some form of “artistic therapy” as I call it, to bring me out of my depression which led me to candle making. I instantly fell in love with the process and decided to turn it into a business."

One of the best feelings in the whole world is getting my house all clean and tidy, lighting a good candle, and relaxing. Gotta keep it real though, the "clean and tidy" part isn't always a thing, but at least there are always good candles!

Blue House Candles smell amazing and they are absolutely gorgeous. Like little works of art. Morgan loves coming up with new ideas for her products. "Being creative and making something out of nothing and bringing a little bit of comfort through scent to people's lives is the best part." She also does "private label" or custom projects for local shops. Like this iced coffee candle for Kahawa Java coffee shop in Owensboro.

She is super excited about her newly launched "bakery" line of products. The candles and wax melts look so realistic! If they were sitting unattended on a tray, I would probably pick one up and take a bite. I am blown away by her ability to mold and sculpt these creations that are almost too beautiful to melt down. This is the Strawberry Shortcake candle and wax melts.

How about some Banana Nut Bread? Smells only!! With this big wax melt, you can divide it into pieces and put them in wax warmers around your house to spread the sweet scent of baked bread. Knowing my family, we'd all get hungry!

LOOK: 35 Vintage Cereals That Perfectly Captured Pop Culture Moments

Movies and TV shows have always found ways to partner with cereal companies as part of their promotion strategy. While some may have come up with a giveaway in boxes, others went big by having their own cereal connected to the movie or TV show title. Here are vintage cereals that were used to promote some of pop culture's biggest moments (and some you probably forgot about).
