Evansville Fantasy Event Invites Creatures Of Legend

The Nick Nackery has announced one of its most imaginative themed events, inviting the public to step into a world of fantasy for The Mystic Creatures Ball.

Taking place on May 2, the event will be held at The Commons, located at 315 North Main Street, where the space will transform into a mystical realm filled with fae, dragons, woodland spirits, and other creatures of legend.

While costumes are optional, guests are encouraged to arrive dressed for an evening of mystical wonder that includes dinner, dancing, roaming performers, and professional fantasy photography to capture the most magical moments. There will also be a costume contest featuring prizes for Most Majestic Creature, Most Whimsical, and Best Couple or Group.

The Banquet Of Beasts Menu

Dinner, known as the Banquet of Beasts, will be served at The Mystic Creatures Ball and will feature themed dishes including Dragonfire Bone Roost barbecue chicken, Golden Griffin Mac and cheese, and Giant’s Hearth Beans. Of course, no mystical meal is complete without Fairy Cloud Cakes for dessert.

When And Where The Mystic Creatures Ball Happens

Organizers say tickets are limited and expected to sell quickly. The event follows the success of The Nick Nackery’s previous themed gathering, Love Bites: The Vampire Ball, which drew a strong turnout from fantasy fans across the region.

Doors for The Mystic Creatures Ball are set to open at 6:30 PM, with dinner beginning at 7 PM.

Tickets and additional details are available through Eventbrite.
