Nicole Kidman Marks Daughter’s 18th Birthday With Rare Throwback Baby Pics [Photos]

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are officially parents to an adult. Their oldest child, daughter Sunday Rose, turned 18 years old on Tuesday (July 7.)

Urban and Kidman, who went through a highly publicized divorce last year, both sent birthday wishes to Sunday on social media.  Kidman also celebrated the occasion by sharing some rare personal photos of Sunday as a baby.

Nicole Kidman Shares Rare Baby Photos of Daughter Sunday Rose to Celebrate Her 18th Birthday

Sunday Rose has become increasingly visible over the past few years as she pursues a modeling career. Her younger sister, 15-year-old Faith Margaret, has also begun making more public appearances.

But when they were younger, Urban and Kidman fiercely protected their daughters' privacy. For years, publicly available photos of the girls were few and far between.

This week, Kidman shared two sweet photos of Sunday as a toddler to commemorate her birthday. In one photo, Kidman holds her as a baby, with the young Sunday dressed in a frilly white outfit with a hair bow to match.

The second photo shows her walking across a floor in a similar white outfit, with angel wings on her back. You can see a baby gate in the background and some toys strewn across the floor, providing an intimate look into what Kidman and Urban's household was like with young children.

"Happy 18th my angel," Kidman writes. "You couldn't be more loved."

Keith Urban also celebrated Sunday's birthday on social media, though he chose a much more recent photo: A picture of Sunday at a recent runway modeling event.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUNCHKIN," Urban wrote over a string of red balloon emojis. "Love you, Dad."

Who Are Keith Urban + Nicole Kidman's Two Children?

Urban and Kidman welcomed their first child together, Sunday Rose, on July 7, 2008. Her younger sister, Faith Margaret, was born via gestational surrogate on Dec. 28, 2010.

Both daughters spent much of their childhoods outside of the public eye, though they did appear as uncredited extras on Season 2 of Big Little Lies, which starred Kidman, and voiced baby birds in Angry Birds 2.

They've stepped into public life more as teenagers, with Sunday choosing to pursue a modeling career. In 2025, Faith co-starred with Kidman in an advertising campaign for beauty brand Clé de Peau Beauté.

Kidman is also mom to two older children, Bella and Connor, from her previous marriage to actor Tom Cruise.
