Indoor Trick-or-Treating Spots in the Tri-State
There's a few things that are certain for today's Halloween festivities: costumes, candy, and horrible weather.
The high for Halloween is a bone-chilling 41 degrees with wind gusts up to 30 mph. Needless to say, many people have decided to go with plan B as far as trick-or-treating goes. But, what if you don't have a plan B? Turns out there's plenty of indoor trick-or-treat events going on across the Tri-State on the evening of Halloween.
Indoor trick or treat events are as follows:
Safe Trick or Treating at Eastland Mall
Cost: FREE
Time: 5-6:30 p.m.
Children can trick-or-treat at the retailers throughout the mall.
Community Trick or Treat at The Bridge Church of Evansville
Cost: FREE
Time: 6 p.m.
Candy, fun, and food for all.
Haunted Halloween Party at Unspoken Art Studio Custom Tattooing (Newburgh)
Cost: FREE
Time: 5-9 p.m.
Kid-friendly party with free candy while supplies last.
Halloween at cMoe

Halloween Costuming Party – You can’t celebrate Halloween without a costume! Join us in the afternoon to make pieces and parts for the costume of your choice! - Spooky Stories & Local Legends (3:00 PM)
Ghost stories, local legends, and campfire tales are all a major part of an area’s folklore. If you’re brave enough, join us in the Fifth Street Theatre for creepy tales of ghosts, monsters, and things that go bump in the night! - Trick or Treating with Play Guides (3 PM-6 PM)
Plus, games and crafts throughout the day!
Newburgh Family Entertainment Center
Cost: FREE
Time: All day
Treat bags for the kids and $5 game cards for any kid dressed up. PLUS 50% off games!
Community Trick or Treat at Ivy Tech
Cost: FREE
Time: 3-4:30 p.m.
Enter through entrance B. Employees will have candy to hand out to trick or treaters.
Trunk or Treat at Trinity Lutheran Church & Preschool
Cost: FREE
Time: 5-7 p.m.
Trick or treating, games, free food. The event will be held in the church's new fellowship hall this year.
Trick or Treat at the Witch's Lair (Haubstat)
Cost: FREE (donations encouraged)
Time: 5:30-8 p.m.
The Gibson county animal shelter has paired up with the witch to find new homes for the Witch's "evil" kitties to torture with love. The All Knowing fortune teller will be making her presence with visions into your future! The witch will be accepting donations of cat/dog food, litter, and old blankets for the animals shelter.
Trick-or-Treating at EVPL Oaklyn Branch Library
Cost: FREE
Time: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Dress in costumes and get free candy.
Trick-or-Treating at North Park Library
Cost: FREE
Time: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
