Indianapolis Colts linebacker, 2014 fifth-round pick, Jonathan Newsome was arrested at his apartment in Zionsville, Indiana on two counts of marijuana possession.

According to CBS4 in Indianapolis, police were responding to a noise complaint at Newsome's residence around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning after receiving a call regarding loud music coming from the apartment. The responding officers discovered the drugs during a search around his home.

He spent the night in the Boone County Jail after reportedly cooperating with the officers.

On the field, Newsome was a force his rookie season, racking up a team-high 6.5 sacks in his first season. There has been no word from the team, or the league, on the potential discipline he may face at this time.
