
Indiana Man Arrested After Deodorant and Nail Clipper Attack
A man in Indiana is facing numerous charges after he attacked a woman with scissors, eyeliner, nail clippers, and deodorant.

An Indiana man has once again proven that anything can be a weapon in the hands of someone hell-bent on doing harm. While you might not think the aforementioned items could do much damage, you would certainly be wrong. A woman is currently recovering after a brutal attack by a man in the Hoosier State, which may have been much worse had it not been for the quick work of area authorities.
Frankfort Authorities Investigate Domestic Attack
According to Fox 59, officers in Frankfort, Indiana, were dispatched to a home on East Washington Street just after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18. Authorities spoke with a female victim who had sustained bruising to her neck and face. She explained to police that the man who attacked her had fled the scene but was able to recount exactly what had led to her battered appearance.
Indiana Man Attacks Women with Grooming Products
The victim claimed that the suspect, identified as Juan Gomez Hernandez, 20, had been drinking when he attacked her with a bottle of deodorant, among other objects. The deodorant was of the spray variety, which Hernandez allegedly used in conjunction with a lighter to create flames.
In addition to the flaming deodorant, Hernandez reportedly punched the victim in the face, stabbed her with eyeliner, and scratched her with the sharp side of some nail clippers. As if that physical abuse wasn't enough, he also allegedly verbalized that he was going to kill her.

What Charges Is Hernandez Facing?
Police were eventually able to locate Hernandez, who was found hiding at a nearby residence. He was arrested and booked into the Clinton County Jail on several charges, including aggravated assault, confinement, strangulation, and liquor law violation. Officers reported finding an open case of beer at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
