Indiana ‘Parody Principal’ Returns with Green Day Parody Celebrating Fall Break [WATCH]

One of the most unique principals you'll ever see is Evansville Christian School principal, Mike Allen, a.k.a. "The Parody Principal." While I don't know anyone who works at or sends their kids to Evansville Christian School, I get the impression there's rarely a dull moment when he's around based on the videos he's posted on the school's Facebook page and his personal YouTube channel over the years, including the newest one he posted earlier this week to officially send his students and faculty off to Fall Break.

While most school principals will stand at the main entrance of their building to welcome students in the morning, or say goodbye at the end of the school day, Mike takes, let's say, a different and more entertaining approach.

For example, when he welcomed everyone back from summer vacation a couple of months ago with a parody of the Backstreet Boys' "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" called, "Everybody (School is Back!)."

Or one of my favorites, his parody of the Bee Gees disco classic, "Stayin' Alive" he called, "Slippery Ice" to announce a snow day back in January of this year.

There's also this one he did shortly after the start of the school year dealing with the frustrations of students and faculty members who can't access certain websites on school computers called "Website's Blocked" to the tune of "Jailhouse Rock" by the King of Rock & Roll, Elvis.

The Parody Principal Returns with Fall Break-Themed Green Day Parody Song

For his latest parody, Mike drew inspiration from Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool, and Mike Dirnt, collectively known as the rock band, Green Day, and their huge 1997 hit, "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" for a song he calls, "Fall Break (Ode to Pumpkin Spice)."

As he's done in a few of his previous videos, Mike not only mimicked the song, he also mimicked the band's style by spiking up his hair and putting some black eyeliner around his eyes to get that "emo/moody punk" feel. Take a look.

The most impressive thing about all these videos is that Mike not only writes the lyrics but he also sings all the parts, including the harmonies, AND creates and plays all the instruments.

I'm already looking forward to the next one, which, if previous releases are any indication, will be some type of send-off before the holiday break at the end of the year, unless a snow day happens before that.
