Hoosiers all over the state are filled with excitement that Indiana University has the chance to go undefeated all season long and capture its first National Championship in football. In case you have been living under a rock, Indiana University will take on the University of Miami for the College Football National Championship game tonight (January 19th). As the anticipation for tonight's game builds in Indiana, national retailers are planning for an IU win. We, here in Evansville, will have the opportunity to snag some new IU merch after the game if the Hoosiers win the Championship.

Evansville Sporting Goods Stores to Stay Open if IU Wins

According to a report by WTHR in Indianapolis, several central Indiana sporting goods retailers will stay open late and immediately begin offering Hoosiers championship merchandise. We're talking about things like official Indiana Hoosiers championship shirts, hats, fleeces, and more. Luckily, folks here in the Evansville area will have the opportunity to snag brand-new National Championship gear after the game if IU wins tonight.

DIck's Sporting Goods in Evansville will have a chance to get Hoosiers championship merchandise, as the sporting goods retailer will stay open late and reopen early at its East Lloyd Commons location at 6200 E. Lloyd Expressway.

Rally House also announced the Evansville Pavilion location will reopen Monday night if the Hoosiers win the National Championship. Additionally, according to WTHR, Academy Sports + Outdoors in Evansville will begin selling National Championship merchandise beginning Tuesday, January 20th.

So, if you are a diehard Hoosier fan and want to get your hands on National Championship merch before anyone else (if Indiana wins, of course), it looks like you have a few options here in Evansville.
