How Many Tacos Can You Buy With Your $1200 Stimulus Check?

People around the country are beginning to receive their stimulus checks. Everyone has a plan for how they want to use that money...especially taco lovers.

There's a conversation on Reddit right now about how many tacos you can purchase from Taco Bell with your $1200 stimulus check. Now, I wouldn't spend my whole check on tacos, but the taco fan in me was curious. Apparently, I'm not the only one as I saw many of my Facebook friends sharing it too.

The cheapest way would be to order a 12 count party pack for 13.99. With an 8% sales tax it comes out to 15.12 for 12 tacos. This nets you 79 Party packs with a $5.52 to spare. You could then buy 3 more tacos at $1.40 after tax.

If you go on Tuesday and score your free taco, you could get 952 Crunchy tacos for $1200.

Here in Indiana, our sales tax is 7%, so the amount of tacos you could get would increase. So let me break it down for you:

You can get a party pack of 12 tacos for $13.99. Add in the 7% sales tax and that comes out to $14.97. This will allow you to get 80 party packs at $1,197.60. That means that you have $2.40 left over, which is enough to get you one more crunchy taco. Adding up all of the tacos, you'd be able to get 961 tacos with $1.02 left over.

Not to mention the free Doritos Locos Taco you can get on a Tuesday.

So there you have it, folks. You can score yourself potentially $962 tacos with your stimulus check. I would be willing to bet that there will be at least one person who will actually do this too!
