Holler for Holiday World Tickets with the WKDQ App

Summer isn't summer without at least one trip to Holiday World & Splashin' Safari (preferably more). There's nothing like taking a trip to Santa Claus, Indiana on a hot summer's day and cooling off with a ride on one of Splashin' Safari's great water slides and coasters like The Mammoth, the Cheetah Chase, or Watubi, then drying off in Holiday World with a trip on The Voyage, The Thunderbird, The Raven, or any one of the other great thrill rides the park has to offer. What could be better? How about getting in for free with a pair of tickets?

We're giving you the chance to win a pair of tickets all this week (June 13th - 19th). All you need to do is take a minute to "Hollar for Holiday World" through the WKDQ app.

How to Enter

Open the WKDQ app
Tap Submit Media
Enter your name, e-mail, and a brief description of your submission (Holler for Holiday World, for example)
Tap the yellow "Select and Submit Media Now" button at the bottom.
Select Record Short Audio Clip
Tap the red "REC" button
Record your holler (although you don't actually have to yell), make sure to include your name, where you work in the Tri-State, and a reason why you like listening to WKDQ during your workday.
Hit the REC or Done button to stop
Hit Submit at the bottom
You're done and entered to win!

Not sure what to say? Here are a few ideas to get you started:

"Hi, this is <your name> from <where you work>, and I love listening to WKDQ while at work, it helps me get through the day."

"Hi, this is <your name> from <where you work>, and WKDQ plays the best country music to help me get through the workday."

"Hi, this is <your name> from <where you work>, and I love listening to WKDQ at work because it makes the day go by faster."

Those are just a few examples. You can read them as they are (making sure to add your name and business in place of the <your name> and <where you work> spots, or you can simply use them as a guide and ad-lib them if you want. Get creative!
