Hocus Pocus 2 Is Officially In The Works For Disney+

It is another glorious morning, indeed. One of the most beloved Halloween movies of all time is about to get a put a spell on you once more!

Hocus Pocus is a movie that has been a must see every year since 1993. 90's kids grew up with it and regard it as one of the best movies to see this time of year, I am one of those kids! After years of anticipation, Disney is officially developing a sequel!

There have been rumors about a sequel coming for years, but that has yet to happen. It seems doubtful, according to some cast members in past years. However, it has been made offical that another Hocus Pocus film will be making its way to Disney's new streaming service, Disney +.

According to Entertainment Weekly:

Reports say that while the original stars are not attached to Hocus Pocus 2, Disney is hoping to get them involved. It’s not yet known if the project will be a direct sequel with the same actors or a reboot with fresh characters and plot lines.

I know that if the movie doesn't feature some, if not all of the original cast, a lot of people will be upset. The cast has openly said that they love the response and the love that people have shown for the film. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy did come together for The Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Halloween Bash which aired on Freeform in October 2018.  So maybe, if the script is right, the Sanderson Sisters will reunite once again to feast upon the children of Salem.
