How to Enter Ring's "Out of This World" Contest

To be eligible to win the million-dollar prize, the footage you send in has to be "unaltered Scientific Evidence of a real Extraterrestrial lifeform" captured with your indoor or outdoor Ring device. Videos must be submitted by Nov. 3, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. According to the official rules, A "Space and Extraterrestrial Expert" will review all qualified video submissions to determine whether or not you have in fact captured the real deal.

Ring Offering Prize to Best Creative Alien Video

Don't worry if you've only ever recorded daily life with your pets or mailmen on your Ring camera. You can get creative with another aspect of the contest that allows you, your family, and your friends to do your best X-Files impression.  Alien costumes, props, and even makeshift aircraft can be used to make a video of what you think a visit from an extraterrestrial would be like.  Points will be given for "creativity, humor, and engagement with a Ring device."

How to Catch an Alien

If you aren't quite sure how to go about catching legitimate footage of UFOs, Ring has suggested some helpful tips to make the exterior of your home more appealing to otherworldly beings.
