Waverly Hills Sanatorium

Located in Louisville, Kentucky is Waverly Hills Sanatorium. Waverly Hills is known for being notoriously haunted and is said to be a "hotbed" for paranormal activity. Part of the reason for this haunting reputation has to do with Waverly's history.

The numbers vary, but it's said that thousands died at Waverly Hills Sanatorium as it was originally a tuberculosis hospital. After the tuberculosis epidemic was over, it was turned into a geriatric medical facility. In 1981 Waverly Hills closed its doors. Now the Waverly Hills Historical Society works hard to help preserve the historic landmark, and by utilizing its chilling history they're able to raise funds for their nonprofit which helps with the preservation of the building.

Haunted Discoveries

Former Ghost Hunters stars Mustafa Gatollari and Brandon Alvis teamed up in 2022 to launch a new series called Haunted Discoveries. The series is back again for another season where the team travels to different locations for paranormal investigations. The team will be making a stop at Waverly Hills for a fun season premier party and of course an investigation.

Haunted Discoveries at Waverly Hills

On September 20th, 2023 the team of Haunted Discoveries will invade Waverly Hills for a really fun and unique event. What's really cool is proceeds from the event go to help restore Waverly Hills and preserve its legacy.

Waverly Hills welcomes you to join the cast of Haunted Discoveries for a first-look at their new series and all-night investigation of the building. Brandon Alvis, Mustafa Gatollari and Kevin Otte will show and discuss some of the stunning finds they uncovered during a pre-investigation dinner.
Doors open / meet and great: 5:30pm EST
Screening: 6:30pm EST
Dinner/ Q&A: 7:30
Investigation: 8:30pm EST
