Gwen Stefani Is All Hollywood, But Her Kids Are Going Full Redneck Thanks to Blake Shelton
Gwen Stefani and her three sons, Kingston, Apollo and Zuma, are getting more familiar with the rural lifestyle, thanks to Blake Shelton.
The No Doubt rocker and her boys call Los Angeles home mostly, but Stefani's social media accounts would have you to believe they spend quite a bit of time with the country megastar on his ranch in Oklahoma.
Stefani shared a comical moment between her oldest son, Kingston, and Shelton in a series of Instagram Stories clips posted shortly after the new year. The country singer was apparently teaching 11-year-old Kingston how to drive, and as Shelton joked, the boy took off and got the truck stuck in the mud.
"I was teaching Kingston how to drive and he just took off driving like a maniac into the middle of the frozen pond," Shelton alleges. "Can you believe Kingston?" As Stefani asks her pre-teen son what he did, he can be heard in the background refuting Shelton's claims.
The crew then hooked up another truck to the one stuck in the frozen mud in hopes of pulling it to dry land. Stefani questioned if it was in fact Shelton driving when it got stuck, but no one would give her a straight answer.
It proved to be a fun day for Stefani and her boys. Later, she shared a clip while dancing on the frozen lake with Shelton while donning her camo-themed jacket. Stefani previously told Marie Claire that Shelton's ranch is the perfect spot for her sons. "We cook and get muddy and dirty. There are ATVs. Being a mother of three boys, it’s kind of the perfect place," she says.
