All Makes And Models are Available at the VHS!

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them in all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats who have been around awhile. So there is a very good likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week with the VHS, and this week we've got a sweet girl who is good as gold!

Meet Goldie!

Goldie is a playful 5-year-old gal who is looking for her forever home at the VHS. Goldie is as sweet as pie and loves people! Now Goldie is heartworm positive, but the VHS is already treating her and will continue to treat her until she is cured, so if you adopt her you will have to keep up with her heartworm treatment, but it'll be free for you!

Meet Goldie!! At just 5 years old, this retriever mix LOVES everyone that she meets. She is sweet and mild mannered, easy to walk on a leash, is a complete goof and loves being the center of attention. In fact, she doesn’t notice other dogs UNTIL the humans start showing them attention instead of her. In this case, she would live best with another dog who doesn’t mind sharing the spotlight.
